Joint statement: It’s time for the OECD to walk the talk on human rights

A coalition of civil society organizations advocating for social, economic, racial, and climate justice, we urge the OECD to actively support the UN process and address the serious concerns raised by UN experts and civil society.

In December of last year, eight UN human rights experts—issued a historic communication to the OECD. They warned of the potential negative human rights consequences of the ‘two-pillar proposal,’ emphasizing its impact on vulnerable communities in developing nations.
